Farmers & Growers
ORGANIC FARMERS
All produce or livestock is grown or raised by the farm applying. Vendors must provide the following documents:
Organic certification (Please see BC Organic Certification Regulation for guidelines)
Proof of Producer-only status (ex. Land Title Certificate or Lease Agreement)
Vendor Insurance.
CONVENTIONAL FARMER
All produce or livestock is grown/raised by the farm applying. Vendors must provide the following documents:
Proof of Producer-only status (ex. Land Title Certificate or Lease Agreement)
Vendor Insurance.
CONVENTIONAL NURSERY
All flowers, potted plants or trees must be grown by the nursery applying. Vendors must provide the following documents:
Proof of Producer-only status (ex. Land Title Certificate or Lease Agreement)
Vendor Insurance.
FISH MONGER, RANCHER OR BEEF/POULTRY/PORK PRODUCER
Fishers, Ranchers, Producers of beef/poultry/pork/seafood. Vendors must provide the following documents:
Letter of Confirmation from your local Health Authority
Vendor Insurance
Fish Vending License (if applicable)
Valid FoodSafe Level 1 certification (if value-added product)
WILD FORAGER
Foraging wild harvested mushrooms, herbs and/or seaweed. Vendors must provide the following documents:
Vendor Insurance
Valid FoodSafe Level 1 certification (if value-added product)
If selling fiddleheads or mushrooms, please provide documentation that you have notified your local Health Authority
DAIRY
Producers of cheese, milk and other dairy products. Vendors must provide the following documents:
FoodSafe Level 1 certification
Letter of Confirmation from your local Health Authority
Vendor Insurance
All Vendors who qualify as Farmers are exempt from the Jury Process during their Application.
